FSC Certified eastern white pine Now Available
Timberpeg® will now offer FSC Certified eastern white pine timber frames. This is in addition to the FSC certified Douglas fir that Timberpeg® already offers. FSC stands for Forest Stewardship Council, and the components we provide which are FSC certified must meet some very high environmental standards. FSC is the only Forest Management standard that is no barrier to trade and the only global forest management certification system where social, environmental and industry interests carry the same weight. FSC is also the only global forest management certification system that prohibits the conversion of forests and other natural habitat, that respects the rights of indigenous peoples, and that prohibits the use of highly hazardous pesticides. In addition, FSC is the only global forest management certification system that prohibits the cultivation of genetically modified trees (GMOs.) We are proud to offer FSC certified products.
