South Hero, VT – August 4, 2008 - CedarLedge Builders Inc., a design / build firm in South Hero VT has been appointed an Authorized Independent Representative of Timberpeg®, which designs and fabricates timber frame homes.
John Skutel and Matt Jensen of CedarLedge Builders, Inc. will provide customer contact and be a resource for expertise in TIMBERPEG® timber framing for design through construction in Franklin and Grand Isle counties. John and Matt have almost 40 years experience between them in design and building timber frame and conventional custom homes, renovations and additions.
Timberpeg® has designed and fabricated timber frames for individuals and contractors all over Vermont and across the country since 1974. Timberpeg’s timber frame homes emphasize traditional mortise & tenon joinery, energy efficient design, eco-friendly materials and responsible building. The Timberpeg® package includes the timber frame, all materials to construct a weather-tight shell as well as local service to assist you through your entire building process. Timberpeg’s design department can design your timber frame home or work with your architect and CedarLedge to provide plans and documents for the timber frame package.
John and Matt specialize in working hand in hand with their clients from the ground up. Their CedarLedge design/build process lets their clients customize their home environment and their experience and craftsmanship bring their client’s vision to reality. John Skutel works with clients in the design phase to plan their projects, and Matt Jensen supervises the onsite construction. Together the two of them coordinate all the details to complete their client’s project.
