THE FIELD HOUSE (T01261)

Project Details

PROJECT #T01261

2,702 square feet

3 bedrooms

3.5 bathrooms

An Eco-Friendly Modern Farmhouse

The Field House combines the rustic beauty of a farmhouse with a sophisticated, modern feel. The finished product is a building with some spacious, airy living areas, along with cozy nooks, and all the amenities. While the main floor is large and features an open environment, this project's use of space is one of its biggest assets.

The exterior of the Field House uses board and batten to replicate a farmhouse or barn atmosphere, accented with a stone veneer. Various small decks and small outdoor living spaces ensure that no matter where you are, fresh air isn't far. Douglas fir timbers are used for the exterior frame and the various trusses.

Entering the Field House from the main entryway leads to a foyer with access to a powder room, laundry, a study, and a screened porch. Continuing on to the left of the entry area is the master suite. A large bedroom with its own deck, spacious walk-in closet, and bathroom make up this wing of the home.

On the other side of the foyer is the Great Room, boasting cathedral ceilings highlighted by pine timbers and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. This open concept area includes a dining area, living area, breakfast nook, and spacious kitchen. The main house attaches to the garage via a mudroom that also leads to an outdoor shower and storage area for yard equipment.

The second floor is made up of a loft that looks down onto the Great Room, along with two bedrooms. Each has ample closet space and a balcony, while one has its own bathroom. Whether you are spending time with loved ones, or looking for some alone time, this plan has a spot for you.
